Do you have a solution, where we both win, I can't lose face in class, and still command the other boys but I can't let he get away with being a disruption but I don't want to bear down on him it didn't do me any good so why would it do him any good. 해결 방법이 있으십니까, 어디 우리 모두가이기면, 나는 얼굴을 잃을 수 없어 클래스, 그리고 아직도 명령을 다른 소년하지만 전에 떨어져 그 브로커를 보도록 할 수 없어 혼란하지만 난 그에게 아래에서 싶지 않다 곰 그것 안 내 좋은 그런데 왜하지 그에게나합니다.

I have been talking to some of my students about boyfriends and girlfriends (Yes I know what's a teacher talking about these things with his students) I don't normally talk about this stuff because it is just a little to personal. BUT I made this exception because it was about the Internet, and what's been happening with some of my students.
First let's understand "I know my boys and girls personally, I know their mums and dads their sisters and brothers" I'm a very old-fashion type of teacher, who thinks school doesn't stop at the classroom door!; if more teachers thought this way, there would be less violence in school, and lots more communication.

Anyway getting back now. We were talking about how sometimes, they meet someone on the Internet, that they like, and want to start a communication relationship with them. Well I say " Yes by all means, BUT! do be careful, they might not be who the say they are!" I get the regular response. Yeh, okay teacher what do you know, why is that old people like you say these things when it comes to our private lives? Fair question! is what I say, So! I say. "What you don' think us old people have relationships? Well we do and sometimes just like you guys we have them over the net."
Yes even we make mistakes, BUT because we have had some experience with this stuff before we can prepare ourselves for the consequences or outcome .

Look guys all I am saying, and I say it to you as a friend and your teacher " Be careful, I know LOVE is a powerful thing and I know things like SEX becomes an issue , but not everything you read and hear is the truth.
Please remember the assignment we all did together about "Half Truths" remember John said he had won $100.00 at the poker game but what he didn't tell you was that he had used $200.00 to win the $100.00.
Hey politicians, use half truths all the time, they say things like during his term, unemployment was at 5.1 percent. What they don't tell you is that the unemployment was at 10.6 before he went into office.
They just want the guy to look bad so they tell you the truth just not all the truth
My point is not everyone will tell you the entire truth, specially if they want something from you.
JUST BE CAREFUL AND THINK BEFORE YOU SAY OR TYPE ANYTHING ON THE INTERNET. PLEASE.

What to do

Okay, so I'm still teaching Koreans here in Ampang; hey I am still teaching the Malay, Chinese and Indian as well.

I love these guys, they are so, great.
It was my first class ever with Korean children, and believe me I was worried as I had never taught Korean children before and I had heard they could be monsters.
Well! you guys are all wrong, or, you are teaching the wrong kids, or, you are the monster.

The girl hiding her face is Lauren then Rachel next Lauren's sister Emily then Anna.
These are the best children I have ever taught and would recommend Korean children any day.
I have now been teaching them and others for a long time now and my feelings are still the same.

Exams

Well, another month has gone by and the kids have again done well.
I try to make it as hard as possible without being a shit but my kids are very smart the boys and the girls lowest score was 89% which is not bad for beginners, don't you think!

Teaching their mothers now also but they don't get given exams, well truth is they do but it verbal by me, I think its more friendly that way I was giving spelling test, but I stopped for awhile and I'm thinking of starting it up again but just a little different, you know thirty words but spell only 15 random selected words.

I'm teacher Richard and I'm only that because thats what they call me; its that first name last last name first thingie you know Asian way.
I've been teaching for almost 25 years now, crap I'm getting old! Oh Well it was bound to happen!
"You know what I don't feel old" Well truth is I'm only 48 years old minus the 25 years teaching that makes it 23 when I started, that would be about right. I started in Australia teaching those Chinese that came there to live you know down the back of Sydney, they call it ChinaTown now.

This will be the first entry!

I am now teaching Korean Kids english, I find them very interesting because they, one are very brand loyal to Korean brands and two, they stick together which in some cases not a good thing but in most ways this is a good thing.

I love these kids, I've only been teaching them for a short while i.e. 1 and a 1/2 years and before that the chinese in China; which is another story.

The Korean girls and boys were so friendly, I was just starting when one girl (no names please) befriended me, making me feel at home at the training centre. I started teaching there, with several other teachers; one being my favorite Ms Angel great lady not married I think, young looking very friendly with an mostly open mind. Anyway back to my kids; I started with holiday classes and slowly after awhile moved in to main stream English classes.
Short story the kids are just the same everywhere. (mostly anyway) They hate to study most do anyway, and they love to play with their phones or MP4 players{remember these children are Korean kids}
